I saw this film once about a guy who doesn't leave home until he's like 35.

Is that a bad thing?

Not necessarily, but I wouldn't say it's a good thing either.

Playing it safe is something we all do, all of the time and I feel it is a state of mind that is baked into the youth of today such as myself. Sure, it'll stop me from killing myself but it will probably also stop me from taking smaller risks such as.... wait.

Surely dossing around is much riskier than doing something productive. SO WHY DON'T I DO SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE?! I don't know. I'll do something productive now.

It's because people aren't looking at you all of the time, and to be a 'nice guy' is aiming to please others, and perhaps your own conscience.

Both tragedies and great deeds go ignored by everyone, all of the time, so if you aim to gain the upper hand regardless of the consequences you're more likely to succeed because you might just go unnoticed. On the other hand you might cross someone like me and get a brick(in a sock) across the face. Just sayin'.

Conscience is a burden, throw that shit away!

Alright, alright. I've been slacking off making vids.

This is mostly due to other shit, and by other shit I mean copious amounts of certain MMOs and biology lectures. I love to multi task.

Anyway, I should get up and about doing other things now, LPBS 19 is coming out but it's crappy cause I recorded it with the wrong settings and it was way too long so it had to be sped up.

So anyway, I'm getting used to making regular vids, the Bioshock ball is rolling and I'm thinking seriously about my next project. Two games spring to mind, Magicka and World of Warcraft. Also, indie games any time i get bored and want to upload small vids. WoW is likely to become one of my major vids, as I feel I know enough about the game to make some decent quality shiz. Magicka is likely to be played with other people, namely Teddi. Might have to get some Portal 2 vidz out there too.

WHO KNOWS.

All of these ideas are attacking me at once, I don't want to make THAT many videos before I have a decent amount of viewers / subs - I know if I find a channel with much of a backlog it just puts me off.

Though I feel that I'm still not happy with audio quality. I feel I get too much reverb and bass, but I have yet to learn how to adjust that, I might have to change my setup somehow so my bare walls do not create echo.. idk.

Been trying to get a Beat Hazard Ultra vid up, but it's being difficult.

So today my new mic arrived, and it seems pretty good.

Apart from the stand I bought, it doesnt fit.

The stand that came with the mic seems alright though. It'll do for now at least.

Getting used to talking into a condenser mic while wearing headphones is an interesting experience, I feel like I'm in a studio!

Playing a lot of warcraft 3 at the moment, but I should be able to at least get a small bioshock vid up today.
